Sooke Region Food CHI Society is very pleased to host the Sooke Apple Festival 2021 this September (26th). We have not been able to hold this beloved event in the past few years, and we are excited that it can return to the Sunriver Community Orchard this September. We are planning a fun, Family-friendly event featuring the themes of Food Security and Community agriculture.
We are reaching out to today to announce the limited space available for a Marketplace and Food Truck corral. The marketplace will be set up at the Orchard, and the Food trucks will be at the Sunriver Community Garden Common Area. The available spots will be filled on a first-come basis.
Event Summary
Date: September 26, 10 am – 3 pm
Setup: 8-10 am
Teardown: 3-4pm
Important Note: There is no electricity available at the site.
Fee for Vendors and Food Trucks: $40 (discounted to $30 for early registration)
Fee for Registered Non-profits: $15
All Fees and Donations are to benefit Sooke Region Food CHI Community Orchard and Food CHI programs.
Vendor requirements:
1) Supply your own Table and Tent. Tent dimensions not exceeding 10 ft. x 10 ft. – a maximum of 2 tables per tent.
2) If serving food, the vendor must adhere to Provincial Health guidelines/regulations as well as provide a waste receptacle for food service items – Vendors are responsible for removal/disposal of the waste they generate.
3) Complete the registration form and pay the event fee
